Welcome to Šilo, Island of Krk!
Šilo is tourist village located on the north-eastern part of the island, in front of the Crikvenica Riviera (26 km from the Krk bridge). Although Šilo today is the tourist centre of the area of Dobrinj, it used to be a fishermen’s and seamen’s village. From Šilo to Crikvenica the first ferry to the Croatian part of the Adriatic navigated.
Šilo celebrates its national day on the 16th of August, on the Day of Saint Roch, which is a tradition that began in the middle of the 19th century, when this area was affected by the plague. People from Šilo, as well as other people, begged Saint Roch to spare them from the plague and from this custom came the processions from the fields to the Church of Saint Nicholas in Šilo.
There are no hotels in Šilo. It is possible to find accommodation in rooms and apartments of private houses or on the camp-site.
With organised local beaches (pebble and partly concrete), there are numerous recreational events. The Blue flag flies proudly over the sandy Pećine beach, which is suitable for children. A special attraction is represented by a visit to the wrecked Greek ship Peltastis which is located near Šilo and this is precisely the place where the island’s diving clubs take divers.
Today motor boats and smaller boats travel the ancient ferry route.

The pension Zeba wishes you a welcome on the island Krk in Croatia. In the island place Šilo, having a picturesque position in the Kvarner bay, you can enjoy you holiday only 50 meters apart from the romantic harbour. From this point you and your family can discover the beauty of the Croatian island world either with a boat or on foot. Let your soul enjoy and relax in the serenity oasis with its own restaurant, grill and cocktail bar.
The pension is surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation. It is only 80 meters away from the sand beach. The renters are available to you at any time. The offer includes a rich buffet breakfast with warm drinks, juices, sweet and tasteful delicacies.
If you wish, you can reserve a half board with additional payment. If you decide to be flexible you can decide every day spontaneously if you wish to have a lunch/dinner in a la carte restaurant.
The whole house has been renovated completely two years ago. You can approach internet wirelessly (WLAN) for free in the whole pension. The satellite television is also available in every room. All rooms have disposable air-conditioners with individual control.
Besides, in cooperation with Marinero Tours, the pension offers the excursions by boats, glass bottom boats, motorboats, taxi boats as well as excursions on the islands Rab or Crikvenica.

Even the beach which allows bathing with dogs is also very near so you can be there quickly on foot.
