  About Trogir:
Trogir is one of the oldest towns in Croatia. Because of its cultural heritage it has been pronounced city - museum from the UNESCO, under which protection Trogir is. Trogir was built 3rd century B.C. when it was inhabited by Greek merchants. From the 13th to 16th century, Trogir reaches its cultural peak. That was the period when the famous Radovan’s portal was built, also as Trogir cathedral, several museums, Northern city gates and other famous monuments.
Some of the most famous buildings are:
- St. Lovre’s cathedral
The St. Lovre’s cathedral started to build in the 13th century and was finished in 18th century. The most interesting thing about the cathedral is its bell tower which was build through 4 different centuries, and every floor of the bell tower was built in the cultural style that was popular in that century; romantic, gothic, renesanse, and baroque.
- Radovan’s portal
Radovan’s portal is one of the most famous arts in Croatia and in the world. Portal was built 1340, and is situated on the entrance of the St. Lovre’s cathedral. It shows two lions, the Adam and the Eve, saints that were characteristic for Trogir, the birth of Jesus Christ and a struggle of a man and a beast. Groups of tourists from all over the world come to Trogir every year to admire this master peace of Croatian sculpturing.
