Neum is the only seaside tourist town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, built on the steep slopes of the gulf of Neum – Klek, which friendly opens its heart and gives its Mediterranean soul, welcoming each and every benevolent guest no matter what part of the world he is coming from. Geographically, Neum belongs to the South Adriatic Region in the triangle of tourist destinations Makarska – Mostar – Dubrovnik and it is protected from the open sea by the peninsulas of Pelješac and Klek, by their amazing bays, little harbours, resorts and fishing villages.
Neum, after the island of Hvar, has the highest number of sunny days per year, which creates a mild Mediterranean climate! Exquisite simplicity and hospitality of local people will not leave you indifferent and you will certainly wish to come back and visit this beautiful pearl of the Adriatic coast again.
In addition to its natural beauty, mild Mediterranean climate and rich history preserved in old buildings and ancient olive trees, Neum offers its visitors a rich cultural and sport entertainment.
The guests who choose to have an active vacation, Neum can offer sport facilities for football, volleyball and basketball; when it comes to water sports there are jet-skiing, surfing, and scooter and speedboat riding. During the summer months, there are music live shows taking place in hotel gardens or private restaurants. There are two disco clubs and a lot of coffee bars that will provide you with entertainment until the early morning hours. You can also choose to have fun while walking, sightseeing, and buying gifts in numerous souvenir shops and boutiques which are the main attraction during the peak season.
The Neum Summer Festival, taking place during the whole tourist season, offers numerous cultural and entertainment events (folklore evenings, gallery exhibitions, literary evenings, ethno fest…etc).
