Extreme changes occur in the second half of the 20th century when tourism starts to develop in Povljana. The first recorded trace of an arrival of a larger number of tourists dates back to 1954. Rural tourism including hunting, appeared in Povljana before it had begun in any other town on the island Pag. The preserved remains of a house, belonging to the Košćina family, located on the area of the Great swamp, today witnesses the glory of the nobles from Pag that used to invite hunters from entire Europe. Once a mainly rural area, nowdays Povljana is an important municipal centre, whose appearance shows the great number of investments as well as the effort of its inhabitants towards the future affirmation of Povljana as a recognizable tourist destination.
Camp Porat:
The campsite "Porat" is located in the main centre of the town of Povljana, on the south of the island of Pag. Surrounded by pine forests and overlooking crystal clear sea the campsite spreads on 16000m2, providing an attractive location for the accomodation of trailers, mobile homes and tents.
Pitches at the campsite:
Pitches at the campsite Porat are built according to the highest ADAC standards. Every pitch is equipped with connections for water, electricity, sewer, WiFi Internet.
There is a total of 60 new pitches. Pitch surface is 110m² and they are situated in the shade of the beautiful pine wood, close to the beach and present the most attractive form of camping.
Mobile Homes
Mobile homes are a constituent part of accommodation facilities in modern camping and are the most modern form of accommodation at campsites. Their comfort provides you with all advantages of a high- quality apartment but with one big difference- they are situated by the sea under the shade of trees at a modern campsite.
The campsite has got 19 mobile homes, which each take up 24m2, containing two separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet, as well as a spacious living room and an entirely equipped kitchen enabling its occupants incredible comfort. There is a parking place for a vehicle next to each mobile home.
Sanitary Facilities:
Campsite Porat has 2 toilets with 24 hour cleaning service.
Also, toilets at the campsite Porat are adjusted to people with disabilities.
Toilets are well positioned in such manner that they cover the whole campsite surface, so that your pitch, wherever it may be, is not too far away from it.

CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A reservation is considered confirmed once the deposit, which equals 30 % of the total price, has been paid.
Deposit refunds are possible only if reservations are cancelled at least 14 days before the planned stay at the campsite, and if the reservation is cancelled any later than that the refund won't be possible.
SPECIAL SERVICES: All special services are charged separately according to the present price list of the campsite.
PETS: Little pets are allowed as long as the campsite regulations are respected.

PRICES in euro are approximate. Payment will be made according to the valid price list in Croatian currency (Kuna) at the reception desk. In case of greater monetary changes we reserve the right to change the prices.
On arrival a deposit of 750,00kn is required.
Pets in the mobile home will be charged € 3.38 per day.
The price includes: cutlery for dining and cooking, linen (changed once a week), towels (replaced at least twice a week), electricity and water expenses.
